This finely made rectangular grave-slab, aligned W–E, is 1.82 m long and 0.64 m wide, with a 0.03 m wide bevel around the edge. It bears the raised relief carving of two adjacent open books, 0.5 m from head of slab, that on left measuring 120 mm (long) by 100 mm (wide), that on right 150 mm by 140 mm. The inscription appears to be confined to area above the books, apart for the date which is to their right. The inscription is very worn on S side and not legible, and the rest of the slab is blank.
