Subrectangular slab measuring 1.99 m long (W–E) and up to 0.65 m wide, with slightly convex sides and narrowing towards ends; it is 0.42 m wide at slightly angled E end (NNW–SSE). The slab is cracked across the stone near the centre, and there is a longitudinal crack running from its NE corner. 

It has finely carved initials, D F, with letters 0.18 m tall, 0.52 m from the head; this inscription may be a later addition.
