This irregular slab lies within the line of the pathway leading to the eastern entrance to the Old Kirk, and its surface is consequently very worn. It has a rounded W end and a pointed E end, and is is 1.66 m long (W–E) and up to 0.50 m wide. It has a generally smooth surface, slightly rippled in places, with a thin quartz view towards the E end.

There is no carving or inscription.
